Ma is a genius engineer with a high spiritual ability. After discovering that her soul could be used as a power source she put a piece of her soul into each of her robotic creations to give them life.

As a child, Ma was lost at sea as the last survivor of a shipwreck. After landing on the beach of a small deserted island in the middle of the ocean, she used her engineering skills to survive, and then thrive. She built machines and companions who helped her to create Terrabyte Hills, a highly advanced city populated by Ma's creations.
